Just wanted to make local residents aware of a situation my daughter saw on our way home from the Charity Shop on Campion St yesterday. A young woman was seen looking through a dustbin on Stanley Street and removing two bags of rubbish. The resident of the house must have seen something through the window and came out looking very puzzled as to why someone had taken her rubbish away. Last year, we got a message from the Local Neighbourhood Officer, Ray Gibson regarding people who were looking through bins for letters with peoples names and addresses on. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you all for your support over the past 12 months. We are looking forward to the next year and all it may hold. As you will know we are at present trying to raise funds to purchase a mini bus, to help us in our community. The Price of a brand new bus with access for a wheelchair is £30,000, so at almost £15,000 we are just about half way there.
