We wanted to let the residents of the New Zealand area know as soon as possible that we have very recently had confirmation that we have been successful in receiving a grant of £15,000 from the Tom Carey fund for our mini bus. This means that with the £15,000 we have raised ourselves, with your help, we are able to proceed with the purchase of our mini bus. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you all for your support over the past 12 months. We are looking forward to the next year and all it may hold. As you will know we are at present trying to raise funds to purchase a mini bus, to help us in our community. The Price of a brand new bus with access for a wheelchair is £30,000, so at almost £15,000 we are just about half way there.
