I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you all for your support over the past 12 months. We are looking forward to the next year and all it may hold. As you will know we are at present trying to raise funds to purchase a mini bus, to help us in our community. The Price of a brand new bus with access for a wheelchair is £30,000, so at almost £15,000 we are just about half way there. Don't forget our Christmas Sing a Long with Ross tonight at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby DE1 1GL. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. This is a free event, but there will be a raffle, hot drinks and mince pies for sale and a collection at the end for the mini bus fund, for those who would like to contribute. We look forward to seeing you all there and getting into the Christmas spirit.

Don't forget the Childrens Christmas Party today at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, starting at 3pm until 6pm. Food, dancing, games, entertainer, and a special visit from the man himself - Santa Claus. So put on your glad rags and join us at the Lonny. Also Monday 12th - Christmas sing a long with Ross. This event is free, but there will be a raffle and a collection at the end of the evening for the mini bus fund. Hot drinks and mince pies on sale. Doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start.

We have two great events coming up at the Lonny Wilsoncroft in the next week or so. First is the childrens Christmas Party on Saturday 10th December. Starting at 3pm. There will be games, party food, a magician and the big man himself - Santa Claus. We will also be drawing the winning ticket for the prize draw. First prize £100, second prize £50, third prize £25. So if you haven't bought your ticket yet please call in at the shops and get yourself a ticket. The next event is our Christmas Sing along with local Cabaret singer, Ross.
