Thanks to everyone who attended the Jumble Sale this afternoon. We raised £206.06 for our mini bus fund. We hope you got some good bargains. A big thank you for all our volunteers - Jill, Sue, Jayne, Melissa, Tracy, Mu, Jayne, Pauline, Nathan, Lynn and Rob and his son.

Another of our fabulous Jumble Sales coming up shortly on Saturday 14th May 2016. Doors open at 3pm - 20p entrance. All sorts of bargains, clothes, bedding, curtains, shoes, toys, books, games. All proceeds to the mini bus fund.

A big thank you to all who attended our Birthday party for the Queen yesterday. It was a wonderful event and I think everyone enjoyed the games and dancing and the wonderful food prepared by Mu. Big thanks to all those who helped decorate the hall namely, Sue, Jill, Doreen, Tracy, Melissa, Fay, Lynn and my wonderful son, Conor. Thanks also to Jo who arrived in time to run the games and competitions after a hard day at work and helped tidy up after the event. Thanks to everyone who attended the Local Election Debate tonight at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre. It was wonderful to hear from 4 of the 6 candidates that will be standing in the upcoming election. About 50 people attended the meeting chaired by Lisa Higginbottom, who did a fabulous job of making sure everyone got a chance to answer the questions put to them. It was fantastic to hear the opinions of all the candidates in a good humoured and friendly atmosphere.
