Don't forget our in/out debate here at the Lonny WIlsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby, DE1 1GL - Monday night, doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start. Debating for In will be Cllr John Whitby and for out, local resident Rob Cooper. Come and hear the points raised, ask your questions and enjoy the evening.

Do you have a garden that you are proud of? How about entering this years New Zealand Community Associations Gardening Competition! The judging will take place in early July and the results announced and prizes awarded at the Gala day on Saturday 16th July. A big thank you to all New Zealand residents who turned up for the meeting regarding Shows Waste and the fly situation. You made your feelings known. Unfortunately we will have to wait for the bureaucratic wheels to turn, but the fight will go on to get the recycling centre closed completely. So watch this space and keep in touch. Thanks again for your support.

We will be holding a meeting on Monday 6th June 7pm (doors open at 6.30), regarding the issues caused by Shows Waste Management. Please come along and talk to the powers that be about the problems we are experiencing at the moment with flies, but also the dust, smell and the big lorries going through the estate disrupting our lives. We are asking, if you are using fly papers to control the flies that instead of throwing them away, you put them in a bag or box and bring them to the meeting with you, so that we can show what we are having to put up with. Please tell other residents about this...

Our next fundraiser will be a Quiz Night on Saturday 28h May 2016 at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby DE1 1GL. Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30 start. Hot refreshments will be on sale, along with a bar. Teams of up to six people, (You can have smaller teams), even if you are on your own, we can put you with other people. £1.00 entry, (if you have a team of six £5.00 for the team), the top prize will be £30.00. Lots of other prizes along the way. Fun and games for all! So come along and enjoy a good night out and help our mini bus fund at the same time.
