Thanks to everyone who attended the Local Election Debate tonight at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre. It was wonderful to hear from 4 of the 6 candidates that will be standing in the upcoming election. About 50 people attended the meeting chaired by Lisa Higginbottom, who did a fabulous job of making sure everyone got a chance to answer the questions put to them. It was fantastic to hear the opinions of all the candidates in a good humoured and friendly atmosphere.
