A Resident asked a question at the last Residents meeting of the Councillors present, which was, 'Were the Council going to come and spray the weeds that are growing up in the gutters and at the base of alot of the houses in the terraced streets of the New Zealand area'. We were informed that the Council no longer provide this service. A big thank you to all who attended our last fundraiser, the Race Night at the Lonny Wilsoncroft. It was a great event and we raised £104.76. Thanks to all who came along and supported us, and also to all those who volunteered their time to run the event. The next event is the big one - Gala Day on Cheviot St Recreation Ground. Saturday 16th July between 11 and 4pm.
