We are looking forward to joining the rest of the city on World Friendship Day by having a socially distancing street party. (Abit like people did for VE day). The NZCA are hoping to do a bit of fundraising at the same time by offering Afternoon Tea for a very reasonable price of just £5.00 per adult; £3.50 for children. Thanks to all that attended the Childrens Christmas Party on the 15th, a great time was had by all! We had over 50 local children attend. Father Christmas arrived and spoke to all the children individually to ask what they wanted for Christmas and to check with the parents if they had been good this year! They then got a bag of Chocolate coins to take away, this was followed by a game of pass the parcel and then the food! Come along to our Euro Final Party on Saturday 13th May at 7.30. Dress up in a national costume and come and watch your favourite country in this epic event. Bar and continental refreshments on sale on the night. All proceeds to the mini bus fund.

Our next fundraising event will be on Saturday 23rd April 2016 at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby DE1 1GL, starting at 4pm and finishing at 7pm. 'A Right Royal Do', will be a party in honour of Queen Elizabeth II 90th birthday, and it coincidentally falls on St Georges Day too. We will be having afternoon tea, and celebrating everything English. Games for the children, including a fancy dress competition. If you have children and live in the New Zealand area, why not book their place at our annual Christmas Party which takes place on Saturday 14th December, starting at 3.00pm and finishing at 6.00pm. There will be food aplenty, games, entertainment from Coe-Coe the Clown, and a visit from the main man himself - Father Christmas. There is no cost for this event. Our Christmas Prize Draw will also take place at this event.
