Thanks to all that attended the Childrens Christmas Party on the 15th, a great time was had by all! We had over 50 local children attend. Father Christmas arrived and spoke to all the children individually to ask what they wanted for Christmas and to check with the parents if they had been good this year! They then got a bag of Chocolate coins to take away, this was followed by a game of pass the parcel and then the food! There will be two free events during the half term holidays for children. The first is the movie afternoon on Monday 9th February between 2-4pm, at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane. This will be an age appropriate, recently released dvd. The second will be a sports session, on Cheviot St Park on the 12th February between 2-4pm. Run by two professional coaches from the Kicks organisation, which is affliated with Derby County football club. This session they will be doing one hour of football and one hour of street golf. If you have children and live in the New Zealand area, why not book their place at our annual Christmas Party which takes place on Saturday 14th December, starting at 3.00pm and finishing at 6.00pm. There will be food aplenty, games, entertainment from Coe-Coe the Clown, and a visit from the main man himself - Father Christmas. There is no cost for this event. Our Christmas Prize Draw will also take place at this event.

Our Annual Childrens Christmas Party takes place on Saturday 15th December between 4.00pm and 6.00pm. Coe Coe the Clown will provide the entertainment, there will be games and dancing and plenty of food. Santa will be in attendance to find out what the children would like for Christmas, and whether they have been good this year.
