We will be holding a meeting on Monday 6th June 7pm (doors open at 6.30), regarding the issues caused by Shows Waste Management. Please come along and talk to the powers that be about the problems we are experiencing at the moment with flies, but also the dust, smell and the big lorries going through the estate disrupting our lives. We are asking, if you are using fly papers to control the flies that instead of throwing them away, you put them in a bag or box and bring them to the meeting with you, so that we can show what we are having to put up with. Please tell other residents about this...

Our next fundraiser will be a Quiz Night on Saturday 28h May 2016 at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby DE1 1GL. Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30 start. Hot refreshments will be on sale, along with a bar. Teams of up to six people, (You can have smaller teams), even if you are on your own, we can put you with other people. £1.00 entry, (if you have a team of six £5.00 for the team), the top prize will be £30.00. Lots of other prizes along the way. Fun and games for all! So come along and enjoy a good night out and help our mini bus fund at the same time.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Jumble Sale this afternoon. We raised £206.06 for our mini bus fund. We hope you got some good bargains. A big thank you for all our volunteers - Jill, Sue, Jayne, Melissa, Tracy, Mu, Jayne, Pauline, Nathan, Lynn and Rob and his son.

Another of our fabulous Jumble Sales coming up shortly on Saturday 14th May 2016. Doors open at 3pm - 20p entrance. All sorts of bargains, clothes, bedding, curtains, shoes, toys, books, games. All proceeds to the mini bus fund.

A big thank you to all who attended our Birthday party for the Queen yesterday. It was a wonderful event and I think everyone enjoyed the games and dancing and the wonderful food prepared by Mu. Big thanks to all those who helped decorate the hall namely, Sue, Jill, Doreen, Tracy, Melissa, Fay, Lynn and my wonderful son, Conor. Thanks also to Jo who arrived in time to run the games and competitions after a hard day at work and helped tidy up after the event.
