A big thank you to all that attended the Easter Eggstravaganza yesterday. Despite having to move indoors the event was very well attended and everyone seemed happy with their chocolate and all the fun and games involved. A very big thank you to all those that helped make the event a success - Sue, Adrian, Fay, Mu, Paul and Jo for fetching the gazebos (even though we didn't use them in the end). Also thanks to the local Sainsburys store on Morley St, Thorntons Chocolates, and Adrian Pegg for supplying us with Easter Eggs for the event.

Thanks to everyone who came down and grabbed themselves lots of bargains in our 50p sale week. Both shops were very busy and our volunteer staff had to work very hard to keep the shelves stocked and customers happy. So a big thank you to them. We look forward to your support at our future fundraising events, including our Quiz Night, which takes place on Friday 23rd February at the Lonny WIlsoncroft Community Centre on Stepping Lane

Happy New Year to all residents of the New Zealand area of Derby. We hope you have a successful and prosperous one, with lots of fun and laughter along the way! We are looking forward to a great year ahead. This year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary of the opening of our community centre, the Lonny Wilsoncroft, so there will be a bit of a party come April 21st. We are still on the look out for our mini bus, and hope to have that in service in the not too distant future. We've got lots of fundraising events coming up to help pay for our new boiler and roof, including our great 5...

A big thank you to all those who supported us by attending the Jumble Sale on Saturday. We raised £170.20 and hope you all got some good bargains as well. This means we have already raised almost £400 for our boiler/roof fund in our first month of fundraising, so thank you for giving us such a great start! We hope you will continue to support us at our future events. If you have any ideas for fundraising, or want to take on a challenge yourself to help us raise funds, let us know.
