Thanks to everyone who came down and grabbed themselves lots of bargains in our 50p sale week. Both shops were very busy and our volunteer staff had to work very hard to keep the shelves stocked and customers happy. So a big thank you to them. We look forward to your support at our future fundraising events, including our Quiz Night, which takes place on Friday 23rd February at the Lonny WIlsoncroft Community Centre on Stepping Lane

Happy New Year to all residents of the New Zealand area of Derby. We hope you have a successful and prosperous one, with lots of fun and laughter along the way! We are looking forward to a great year ahead. This year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary of the opening of our community centre, the Lonny Wilsoncroft, so there will be a bit of a party come April 21st. We are still on the look out for our mini bus, and hope to have that in service in the not too distant future. You can find the form here: http://www.nzca.co.uk/christmas-hamper-appeal-2017 You can donate tins or packets of food for our hampers by taking them to our Charity shops on Campion St and Uttoxeter Old Rd or requesting they be picked up by contacting us.

A big thank you to all those who supported us by attending the Jumble Sale on Saturday. We raised £170.20 and hope you all got some good bargains as well. This means we have already raised almost £400 for our boiler/roof fund in our first month of fundraising, so thank you for giving us such a great start! We hope you will continue to support us at our future events. If you have any ideas for fundraising, or want to take on a challenge yourself to help us raise funds, let us know. Our next fundraiser will be a Race Night held in conjunction with the 102 Club, so come along and enjoy a really fun night with friends. Monies raised from the Races will be going to the Roof and Boiler Fund. So come along for a great night out at the 102 Club, Ashbourne Rd, 7pm Friday 22nd September 2017.
