Happy New Year to all residents of the New Zealand area of Derby. We hope you have a successful and prosperous one, with lots of fun and laughter along the way!

We are looking forward to a great year ahead. This year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary of the opening of our community centre, the Lonny Wilsoncroft, so there will be a bit of a party come April 21st.

We are still on the look out for our mini bus, and hope to have that in service in the not too distant future.

We've got lots of fundraising events coming up to help pay for our new boiler and roof, including our great 50p sale at the charity shops at the end of January, our annual Easter Egg hunt in April, Gala Day and much more besides.

If you feel you have any time to give to volunteering for our great organisation get in touch, if you have any fundraising ideas or things you would like to see in the area let us know. We want to make the New Zealand area a caring, sharing fantastic place to live.
