On Monday 30th May 2011 The New Zealand Community Association will be holding a sponsored walk on Markeaton Park in aid of the Kitchen Installation Fund. This is an event for all the family, young and old alike.
The course starts just outside the Orangery, around to the duck pond, passed the toilets, around the back of the tennis courts and back towards and through the Orangery.
You can do as many laps as you like up to 10.
Come and collect a sponsor form from the Nearly New Zealand Charity Shop or the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre.
The event starts at 11.00am and will go on until 2.00pm.
There are 2,500 homes in the New Zealand area if we can get 100 people to do the sponsored walk and they get just £10.00 each in sponsorship, we will raise £1,000, so we hope the New Zealand Neighbourhood Community will get behind us on this and that we will boost our funds in a big way this month.
