Come along to the first fundraising event of the year and kick off a great start to 2014. All the fun of the races, brought to you on the big screen. Place your 50p bet and watch your favourite romp home to the cheers of the crowd. So why sit at home, when there is fun to be had! Thanks to all who attended the Quiz Night. It was very enjoyable, Mu's strawberry scones went down a treat, and we had a very exciting finish with two teams on the same score, and having to have a tie breaker question. But in the end, the Brown Bowls team were the winners, and they are putting their winnings towards their annual Christmas dinner. Thank you also to all who helped in making the night a success. We raised £95 for the Mini bus appeal.

Friday Night Bingo has been running at the Lonny Wilsoncroft since 4 July 2008, and has raised alot of money for us over the five years it has been running. Unfortunately, over the past two years the amount of people attending has reduced significantly. We gave it a break whilst we had the kitchen built, and hoped it would pick up again when we started back in April this year. Unfortunately that has not happened, so we have made a decision to cancel the weekly friday night bingo sessions and try holiding it just once a month. Come along to our next fundraising event - a Quiz Night at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane, Derby. Saturday 29th June, doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30 start. As well as the usual question rounds, there will also be a chance to take part in some family favourites from the tv - Play Your Cards Right, Take Your Pick and Family Fortunes. Top prize of £30.00 for the winning team and lots of spot prizes throughout the night. Bar and refreshments available So come and join us for a fun evening and help us raise money for our Mini bus appeal.
